Over the past few months, we have been working together through the Thameside West Park Design Group to help shape the future of the park. Through workshops, site visits and activities, we have been sharing local knowledge, exploring ideas and discussing priorities for the park.

We have been sharing updates throughout the process so the wider community can follow the discussions and see how local feedback is informing the proposals. The group brings together people with a range of perspectives, experiences and connections to the Royal Docks. The process is centred on local knowledge and lived experience, rather than requiring any design or planning experience.

The Park Design Group is one part of the wider conversation about Thameside West Park. While the workshops involve a smaller group of local people, the ideas and insights emerging from the process will help inform the development of the park proposals and wider community engagement.

You do not need to be a Park Design Group member to share your views. You can contact the project team at any time here.

We will share updates from the Park Design Group on this website and through our community newsletters, including key discussions, emerging themes and how local ideas are informing the development of the park proposals.
